I made Dither Camera to turn your live camera feed into 8-bit and Game Boy Camera style photos. Pick 64-color dithering or a four-shade palette, adjust the brightness, and take a photo.

Your photos stay on your device

Your live camera feed is processed on your device. Captured photos are stored locally in this browser. Dither Camera doesn't upload your camera feed or photos to a server.

There's no account to create and no cloud photo library. When you download or share a photo, you choose where it goes.

Keep the ones you want

The photo strip holds up to 100 photos. New captures replace the oldest when it's full. Photos don't automatically follow you to another browser, device, or domain. Browser storage can be cleared, so download the photos you want to keep.

About analytics

I use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand visits and actions such as captures, downloads, and palette changes. Vercel Speed Insights measures site performance. The app doesn't include your camera feed or photos in those analytics events.
